OK sleeve

An OK sleeve guarantees that endoscopes come back disinfected from the CSR.

An OK sleeve with a green “OK” imprint is slid around the stainless steel instrument net after cleaning and disinfection, to clearly indicate that the flexible endoscope is disinfected in the instrument net. The big advantage is that the sleeve not only provides protection from contamination (transport packaging), but also has a signaling function by means of the green “OK” sign with a small checkmark next to it.

After cleaning and disinfection, the instrument net is wrapped up in the OK sleeve and the flap is stripped so that the adhesive strip can be glued to the sleeve. This ensures a solid and powerful connection. The valve and the adhesive strip are “destructable”. This means that this adhesive strip can only be used once. This adhesive strip never sticks again and can therefore never be used again. It is very important that it is clearly visible that the adhesive strip between the cover and the sleeve has been broken. The cover is made of LDPE with a thickness of 40 microns. It is new material, so not made from recycled material.

If the endoscope is wrapped up in the sleeve after the cleaning process, this guarantees that the endoscope has been disinfected from the CSR.
